The infamous Beverly Hills is home to the rich and the famous. This high end area of Los Angeles County is known to be one of the most expensive places to live in the country, because of the high cost of living. It means that everything is expensive in this place especially houses.

Beautiful and luxurious million dollar homes are found in Beverly Hills. The house prices range from a few million dollars to a hundred million dollars or more. In fact, a few months ago two properties in Beverly Hills were sold for over $100 million dollars each. Now that’s a lot of cha-chings. One property, the Fleur de Lys went for $102,000,000 and it was paid cash. Yes, you read it right. Someone paid cash for this extravagant property.

The former owner of this lavish estate, Suzanne Saperstein, finally sold it to the highest bidder. It is noted that she originally asked for 125 million dollars for Fleur de Lys but she settled for $102,000,000 offered by the highest bidder. There are three unknown billionaires who bid against each other to win this posh property. The lucky winner of this very expensive auction is a French billionaire whose identity is hidden.

Fleur de Lys is a grand estate nestled between Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills. This 4.6 acre property is fully landscaped and include a 50,000 square foot mansion that features 12 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, lots of kitchens, music room, movie theater, ballroom and a wine cellar. Outside the mansion are beautiful French-inspired gardens, swimming pool, spa, fitness center, tennis court and a jogging/running track. The estate’s main entrance feats dramatic gates and 600 foot driveway that turns back into a cobblestone parking area.

The recent sale transaction of Fleur de Lys made history in the real estate world as one of the biggest cash purchases. It is also one of the most expensive single-family homes sold in Los Angeles County.
