No matter what game a team plays. All that matters is what their lineup is made of. The players either they’re in form or not make the team intimidating or worth playing against. But some players are way important and vital for the team and their win than the others. If they’re absent because of whatever reason, things crumble down like a house of cards. Same is the case with Cavelliers and their star player Tristian Thompson who was unable to show his talents I the game and didn’t join his team mates for a flight this Tuesday night against the Celtics. Tristian is on the resting seat because of the injured thumb and there’s a lot on the line except the win for Cavs. This truly has come off as a shock because his presence is going to put a large hole into the team’s performance and that is something they can’t afford for now.
Thompson is all in the checkups as he has gone through an MRI and with the recent X-ray for the hand clarified that his thumb is badly injured that came in place because of his rebound accident with Orlando’s Nikola Vucevic this Tuesday, the reports came negative because he regardless of being injured stayed in the game. If Tristian is unable to play the game then his long built streak, that happens to be the longest by any player in NBA for playing consecutive games in a single franchise. Tristian holds the record streak of 447 matches which is in itself astonishing. However, Cavs are already preparing for the worse as they have called in for Thompson’s replacement and that is going to be Larry Sanders from the D-League. Fans all over the world now have their eyes stuck on Tristian Thompson’s fast recovery and are hoping to see him in Cav’s merchandise soon.
