Mr. Smith Returns to Music

Will Smith has a rare return, rapping to the remix by Colombian group Bomba Estéreo’s track, Fiesta.

It has been a long time since Will Smith has used his music talents, however it seems that the entertainer has taken out his rapping skills. The Grammy-winning artist is included on the remix of Bomba Estéreo’s song, Fiesta, to be released on 2 October.

A new collaboration, that Smith raps in both Spanish and English, signifies his 1st return to music since the 2005 album, Lost and Found. He stumbled upon the electronic act on a recent trip to Colombia. He later asked the group to collaborate.

The group includes multi-instrumentalist Mejia, Bomba Estéreo, singer Liliana Saumet, drummer Andrés Zea and multi-instrumentalist Julian Salazar. Formed in 2005, they have performed at significant music festivals, including Lollapalooza, Glastonbury and Coachella.

Aside from his acting exploits, including the Men In Black trilogy, Hitch, Independence Day and the forthcoming Suicide Squad, Smith’s music career includes singles Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It, Miami and Wild Wild West.
