Coldplay to Headline Super Bowl

Now it is officially confirmed that Coldplay will headline this year’s Halftime show at the National Football League’s Super Bowl 50 in February.

Bruno Mars and Beyonce’ are also in touch to make guest appearances as again NFL is keen to succeed the viewership from the last year’s Super Bowl.

Bruno nailed it in 2014 with 115.3 Million viewers and made that show the most watched Halftime show, but, in the very next year Katy Perry broke that barrier by attracting 118.5 Million viewers.

But this year Coldplay and Bruno Mars are very keen to take it to at least 125 Million which is not very difficult from performers of their caliber.

Everything is going in their way, as the time is ideal for Multi-Grammy Award winning band , just after the release of their Seventh studio Album called “A head Full of Dreams” featuring big names like Beyonce’, Tove lo and Noel Gallagher.

Coldplay Frontman Chris Martin confirmed the news by Tweeting that they feel “excited and honored” to become a part of this legacy.

They uploaded a promotional video on Social Media sites for thanking the NFL for giving them the opportunity.

“We are so excited and honored and thrilled to be playing the halftime show” says Chris Martin

He further added “I’m really, really Nervous. This is the moment in our band’s life. We are going to give it everything we have.”

The British Rock-Band is also planning a World Tour for “A Head Full of Dreams” just after the Super Bowl.
